CCC hosts Rev. Dr. Mensah Otabil for Start Well Conference 2024

The Calvary Charismatic Centre (CCC) is set to host its annual New Year Empowerment Program dabbed Start Well Conference with Rev. Dr. Mensah Otabil, the renowned televangelist, founder, and head pastor of the International Central Gospel Church (ICGC).

This highly anticipated event, held at the CCC Ayigya headquarters, has become a significant gathering, attracting people from diverse religious backgrounds.

During this program, Rev. Dr. Mensah Otabil, an internationally acclaimed theologian, motivational speaker, preacher, and entrepreneur, shares insights from scripture, his leadership experiences, and profound knowledge to inspire and empower attendees for the year ahead.

The event is known for igniting dreams and uplifting spirits, setting the tone for a successful year.

Inviting the region for the life transforming event, host, founder and head pastor of CCC, Rev. Ransford Obeng pointed out, “we invite my good friend and a great communicator of God’s word every year because we believe when you start the year well, you will be able to finish well.”

“He comes to encourage and give us instructions in the word of God which will help you. No matter the difficulties you will face during the year, you will be well prepared to face the future and succeed,” he encouraged.

The evening sessions are scheduled for Thursday and Friday, January 25th and 26th, 2024, with a special Church Leadership Seminar planned for Saturday morning at the Ayigya premises of the Calvary Charismatic Centre.

To ensure widespread participation, the church is providing transportation for congregants across Greater Kumasi.

Heal Komfo Anokye

In addition to the spiritual enrichment, Rev. Ransford Obeng, the host, founder, and head pastor of CCC, is advocating for support for the Heal Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital project, an initiative launched by Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II.

The project aims to raise US$10 million to renovate the 70-year-old health facility, which serves a large area of Ghana and neighboring countries within the West African sub-region.

Soliciting support, Rev. Ransford Obeng appealed, “we are encouraging everybody who lives in the Kumasi Metropolis and beyond, to contribute any much they have to renovate the hospital because one day, anyone can find himself there whether voluntarily or by compulsion,”

Peaceful Elections

Rev. Ransford Obeng emphasized the importance of peaceful elections, urging the Electoral Commission to ensure fairness to prevent potential electoral violence.

With the country’s peace in mind, he stressed the need for policies that would discourage any actions leading to unrest during the 2024 national elections.

“Ghanaians are peace loving but the EC should make sure they have policies that will make it difficult for anybody to do anything that will bring violence. It’s because when you are playing soccer and the referee is not fair to you, it’s very frustrating. We want to encourage them to be as fair as possible, he advised.
